Simpler banking and more smiles

(Wolff Olins/NY) Washington Mutual (RIP). I worked as creative director on this project for the Seattle based consumer bank for almost 2 years. In all, we had our hand in over 200 projects, from renaming them, creating a naming architecture for the product portfolio, reducing their in-store brochures from 75 to 7, rewriting and designing them in the process, giving them a bright new consumer-friendly identity, launching the brand internally to every single employee via a broadsheet publication, created service principles that were launched via a pocket sized book for every customer facing employee, creating instore promotional campaigns, advertising, integrating marketing, creating and leading agency and internal marketing workshops, writing call centre scripts, redesigning their stores and the instore experience.
